Chuchvara is a dish, which comes under the Central Asian Cuisine category. It is also called Dumplings. Dumpling is also known as another name depending on the region that is Chinese Traditional Dumplings (Jiaozi), Pelmeni( Russian meat dumpling), and Empanadas.

Dumpling is a type of baked or fried dish which is stuffed and wrapped in bread. They are made by folding of dough over a filling, which may consist of chicken, cheese, corn, egg, seasoning or other ingredients, and then cooked both sides

It is made with Dough and filled with a different type of ingredient as per your choice.I am sharing the preparation of uzbek meat dumpling that is Chuchvara dumpling.During the making of Chuchvara dumpling, the dough is rolled and stuffed with meat pieces or vegetables seasoned with chopped onions, pepper, and thyme.

This is small in size and looks amazing. Chuchvara dumpling is served with or without soup. If you like the take a soup, you can try chuchvara soup. Chuchvara soup recipe is popular in the Central Asian region.

Chuchvara dumpling is also served with Sour Milk and Sour cream. Chuchvara dumpling is garnished by chopped coriander. Chuchvara dumpling name has been given due to its shape. Ingredients:

For Dough:

    1. Water as required 
    2. Salt to taste
    3. 2 egg
    4. Plain flour as needed

For Filling:

    1. 250 gm minced meat
    2. 2 onions chopped
    3. Salt as taste, pepper
    4. Sour cream a scoop 
    5. Chopped coriander 
    6. 5 tbsp of butter 

How to make Chuchvara Dumpling?

    1. In a heavy bottom, skillet adds butter and golden fry onions stirring constantly and season well with salt, pepper.
    2. In a flat vessel take flour and in the centre add beaten egg, water and salt mix it well and knead to a smooth dough 
    3. Take a damp cloth cover the dough and let it rest for 15 min.
    4. On flat shell dust in some flour with the help of rolling pin roll out the dough flat,  Cut in 1.5 x 1.5-inch squares. 
    5. Place the filling in the centre and roll over the sides and pinch edges carefully. 
    6. Pinch again corner to corner. 
    7. In a boiler boil these Chuchvaratill they are done.
    8. Can be served with soup, topped with cream and chopped coriander.
Note-
    1. After making Chuchvara dumplings, You can prepare a dumpling soup using of it.
    2. To make the Chuchvara soup, the dumplings are cooked in a soup pot with spices and leftover vegetables.
